CAN DESIGN ENTRY
This was a university live brief competition for the 'Debut' beer can design by Triple Point Brewery in Sheffield. The design is based around the idea of Triple Point's Debut as a brewing company. A company that was founded by father and son, who then went on to find their master brewer and together they became the holy trinity behind the brand and beer that we know and love.
The DESIGN PROCESS
Here is a Quick Look into the design process I went through with this brief and how I went from initial sketches to final designs and mock-ups.
Below are the initial sketch ideas I had in the idea generation stage of the design process.
Trying and testing stages of development. This stage is all about choosing the design that stands out the most. I decided to go with the tarot cards as I felt it framed each section against the black can nicely and also gave it a bit more of a spiritual meaning and fun design element of tarots.
Alongside designing the can, it was also part of the brief to design a matching beer pump clip to go with the beer which would be on draught in their breweries.
