Bite back zine

This self-initiated brief, completed during my final year at Sheffield Hallam University, draws inspiration from the DIY zine culture born out of the Riot Grrrl movement. This project explores women’s rights and the challenges faced by the 1990s feminist movement, reinterpreted through a modern, inclusive lens to imagine what the movement might look like today.

The goal of this project was to push my creative practice beyond illustration — experimenting with photography, creative writing, and collage to create a tactile, expressive zine that celebrates empowerment and individuality.

Explore the development process, from early concept sketches to final mock-ups and printed pages.
